Reviews, comparisons, rankings and roundups, coupon and deal posts, how-to guides and tutorials, and general blog articles about digital products and software are what PreviewNode publishes. We do not sell, host or supply the products we write about.

Terms Used Here
Cookie — a small piece of data a website saves in your browser. Cookies identify your browser, support analytics, and remember preferences such as language.
Device — any internet-connected device used to visit the Website, such as a phone, tablet or computer.

What We Collect
Collected automatically
When you visit, our servers and third-party services may record your IP address and approximate location, browser and device type, the pages you viewed, the links you clicked, the site or search engine that referred you, and the date and time of your visit.
Cookies, server logs and similar technologies are what gather this. It does not normally identify you personally.

What we never collect
We do not collect or store payment card details, bank details or financial account information. Every purchase you make happens on the vendor’s own website, under their terms and privacy policy.

- Understand which content readers find useful and improve what we publish
- Reply to messages you send us
- Send emails you have asked to receive
- Attribute affiliate referrals correctly

Legal Bases for Processing (EU, EEA and UK Visitors)
Three legal bases apply where the GDPR or UK GDPR is in play:
- Consent — for non-essential cookies, for marketing emails, and for including your details in retargeting or custom audiences. You may withdraw consent at any time.

They tell the vendor you arrived from our Website so any commission is correctly attributed. These cookies are set by the network or vendor, not by us, and are governed by their privacy policies.

Retargeting and Audience Matching
Retargeting, also called remarketing, is how we put our own content and offers back in front of people who have already visited the Website or joined our email list.
Two mechanisms are involved:
- Cookie-based retargeting. Advertising platforms set a cookie or tracking pixel when you visit, which lets us show our ads to you later on other websites and platforms. We use the Meta Pixel, which records actions you take on the Website — such as which pages you view — and reports them to Meta. Meta holds that information under its own privacy policy.
- List-based custom audiences. Where you have given us your email address, we may provide a hashed, non-readable version of it to an advertising platform such as Meta so our ads reach you rather than an unrelated audience.
Promoting our own content and offers is the only purpose. We do not provide your details to the vendors whose products we review, and we do not permit advertising platforms to use your information for their own purposes beyond matching our audience.
You can opt out at any time. Block or delete advertising cookies through your browser settings, unsubscribe from our emails, or email us at admin [a] previewnode.com to be excluded from our custom audiences. You can also manage ad personalisation in the advertising platform’s own ad preferences.
Do Not Track Signals
Some browsers send a “Do Not Track” signal. There is no common industry standard for how websites should respond to it, and we currently do not respond to Do Not Track signals. You can control tracking through your browser settings, and by emailing us at admin [a] previewnode.com.
Who We Share Information With
Sharing goes no further than the service providers who help us run the Website, and no further than each of them needs:
- Hosting and website infrastructure providers
- Analytics providers
- Email service providers, where a newsletter is offered
- Affiliate networks, including Amazon Associates, CJ Affiliate, ClickBank, ShareASale, JVZoo and WarriorPlus
- Advertising platforms, including Meta, where you have consented to retargeting, as described above
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your email address with the vendors whose products we review, and we do not provide your personal data to advertisers or marketing partners for their own purposes.
The only exception is the retargeting described above, where a hashed version of your email address may be matched by an advertising platform so we can reach you with our own content. Under California law this may count as “sharing” for cross-context behavioural advertising, and you can opt out at any time.
Disclosure may also happen where the law requires it, where enforcing our Terms makes it necessary, or to protect the rights, property or safety of the Website, our readers or the public.
If the Business Changes Hands
Should PreviewNode be sold, merged, or transfer substantially all of its assets, information held about you may pass to the acquiring party — on condition that party agrees to honour the terms of this Privacy Policy.
How Long We Keep Information
Information stays with us for as long as the purposes described in this policy require, and for as long as the law obliges us to hold it.
The period turns on what the information is and why we have it:
- Contact messages are kept while your enquiry is open and for a reasonable period afterwards, in case you get in touch again about the same matter
- Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe, after which we retain the minimum needed to honour your opt-out
- Analytics data is kept in line with the retention settings of our analytics provider
- Server logs are kept for the period needed to investigate security and performance issues
Anyone processing information on our behalf works to the same standard. Once we no longer need your information and no legal or regulatory reason to keep it remains, we delete it or anonymise it so you can no longer be identified.
International Transfers
Operation of the Website happens outside the European Economic Area, and our service providers may store or process data across a number of countries, the United States and countries in the European Union among them.
Where personal data originating in the EU, EEA or UK is transferred outside those regions, we rely on the safeguards our providers have in place, such as Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission, or an applicable adequacy decision.
Keeping Information Safe
Reasonable technical and organisational measures protect what we hold, encrypted connections (HTTPS) and restricted access among them.
Absolute security is beyond any website’s reach. Neither people nor systems are infallible, and we cannot warrant that information transmitted over the internet is completely secure.

- Equal service — we will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights
We do not sell personal information.
We do carry out retargeting, as described above. Where cookies set by advertising providers, or a hashed email address matched to a custom audience, constitute “sharing” for cross-context behavioural advertising under California law, you may opt out at any time through your browser settings, by unsubscribing, or by emailing admin [a] previewnode.com.
If you are elsewhere
You may contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and to withdraw consent to its processing. We will honour these requests as far as applicable law allows.
How to exercise your rights
Email admin [a] previewnode.com with your request. We may ask you to confirm your identity before we act on it. We aim to respond within 30 days.
Please note that removing every trace of information is not always technically possible. Backups exist to protect against data loss, and a copy may persist in a non-erasable form for a limited period. We will update or delete data in our active systems as soon as is reasonably practicable.
Children’s Privacy
Adults are the intended audience for the Website, which is not directed at children.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 13, or under 16 where local law sets that threshold.
Parents and guardians who believe a child has given us personal information should write to admin [a] previewnode.com, and we will delete it from our systems.
Where Our Links Lead
Vendor websites, affiliate networks and third-party review platforms are all linked from here. This Privacy Policy does not extend to any of them.
Follow a link away from the Website and the privacy policy of your destination takes over. Those sites may set their own cookies and collect their own information. Reading their privacy policy before handing over anything is worth the minute it takes.
Revisions to This Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated as our practices or the law change. The “Last updated” date at the top shows when it last changed. Where a change materially affects how we use your personal information, we will highlight it on the Website.
Continuing to use the Website after a change means you accept the updated policy.
